We can guide and support you through the process of a dissolution of a civil partnership and resolving the associated finances.
Pre-Nuptial Agreement
This is an agreement that people enter into prior to their marriage to govern how their assets are divided in the event of the breakdown of their future marriage. Typically, it is used as a mechanism to try and protect wealth acquired by one or both parties before the marriage.
Post-Nuptial Agreement
This is the same as a Pre-Nuptial Agreement, save for it is entered into after parties have married.

We will guide and support you throughout the process and, due to our High Street locations in Swindon and Witney, you can always meet with your solicitor face-to-face when needed.
Child Abduction
The firm also have experience in domestic and international child abduction. Though this is very rare it can happen and we can advise on the legalities.
Finances

Co-Habitation
There is little legal protection in place for couples and children who are co-habiting. However, if you have children or own a property together and the relationship ends, you may have to come and see a solicitor.
Children
Deciding what happens with the children after a separation or divorce can be the most difficult and emotive aspect. We will try to help you come to a decision that is in the children’s best interests whilst taking into account the wishes of each parent.
TOLATA
Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA) is the statute which is central to most property disputes. This comes into play where one person asserts to have an interest, or if one person is seeking a declaration as to what their interest is, in a property, before seeking an order for the property’s sale.
